Wellness

I do not have much of a "wellness plan". I work all day at school, come back to campus and work in the cafeteria, then I work on lesson plans until I am too tired to write something coherent. I work every day except for Sunday, when I clean up around my apartment and work on more lesson plans. If only student teaching didn't cost $30,000 :)

  1. It has been a struggle to maintain any kind of wellness plan this semester. You are not alone in this feeling. Just know, the students appreciate the effort that you put into each and every day that they see you.

  3. I do the same everyday so I understand! Working till coherent lessons are no longer there is the same thing I do!

  4. I have been there and it is not easy but you do need to take even 5 minutes for you. When a goup of my friends worked in the cafeteria at college, we would exercise there after work together, put on music and make the best of it twice a week. Then at least for 2 nights we would leave work with a better attitude about coming home to more work to do.( Jane Fonda would get us through) Take Care! It does get easier!

  5. You're doing a great job. We're halfway there! Hopefully you can draw inspiration from your first placement to help plan your second set of lessons!
